God's Mysteries and Paradoxes: Looking through the Glass, Darkly, by Dr. Carroll M. Helm

God's Mysteries and Paradoxes: Looking through the Glass Darkly is a book about paradoxes and how they were actually created by God to bring unique enlightenment but also to confound the so-called earthly wisdom. Paradoxes also keep believers humble by showing them that God's ways are not always man's ways. "For this is what the high and lofty One says-he who lives forever, whose name is holy; I live in a high and holy place but also with him who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite (Isaiah 57: 15)" This book introduces the reader to the ancient idea of "The Divine Paradox" written by Hermes Tristmegistus (thrice great) in The Divine Pylander. An additional book, Corpus Hermeticum, was translated by Marsilo Ficino during the early Renaissance and helps frame the philosophical paradox of nature versus faith. This book, along with other fragments written by Hermes Trismegistus, was translated in the early 1400s and caused a rebirth of its teachings during the Renaissance. Modern secret societies and the occult are using much of the same knowledge to deceive people in the world today. Evidence shows Albertus Magnus, Roger Bacon, and the Knights Templar possessed ancient knowledge and from it gave rise to secret organizations and societies operating today, including the Illuminati, Freemasons, and modern occultists.

By Bonnie E. Virag
This is one of the most intriguing books I have read of late. The author presents an excellent narrative about his search for an answer to his many questions about his faith. Carroll Helm believes in God and HIS son Jesus Christ---always has. His faith appears to have grown stronger during this search, and his questioning, "why", his son Lucas had to leave them so soon. In his grief he wanted immediate answers. God gave him comfort, and more. HE has shown Carroll Helm that life is complicated, and filled with too many Opposites.
In my youth I searched for answers. My mother was very religious and loving. My father was an atheist and very loving. These two are agood example of Mr. Helm's paradoxes---no, God's paradoxes.
I had written to the Rosicrucians when I was sixteen asking for, no, stating puzzles and paradoxes of good vs evil in this world. I have puzzled on the tragedy of the Knights Tem[lar. I even read, briefly, about the ancient Hermes Trsitmegistus, surprised to learn it was Hermes that stated experiments of hermetically sealing materials,(hermetic from Hermes).
This very well written and well explained "God's Mysteries and Paradoxes" is a book I shall keep among my "books of special significance". I recommend it to all pilgrims on this journey through life. For life is a challenging journey fraught with fears, such as we had in childhood; the doubts in our youth, and the confusing conflicts that we are challenged with as parents. But the journey must be made, and in our parenting years we shall be the wiser, knowing that every challenge has been met. We know there have always been the struggles between good and evil; what is right and what is wrong. This is God's Mystery------learn to live with the paradoxes.
The author states his love of the Book of Proverbs: I also love Ecclesiastes because it states in simplicities, there is a time for everything, note these paradoxes, "a time to gather stones and a time to throw stones. A time to kill and a time to heal". And after the reading, "Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter; Fear God and keep his commandment, for this is the whole duty of man".
Keep the faith. Goodness shall prevail.

By Barbara Heintz
Please Note-- Are Available under the Author's page for Kindle and Paperback. I would like to add to Dr. Helm's review of "God's Mysteries and Paradoxes," that I recommend Carroll Helm's book to anyone who believes dabbling in the occult does not have serious consequences. After his son's death in an accident, Dr. Helm began to look for answers--The endless question of, "Why my son when God is supposed to be about purity, love, and hope for ever lasting life?" We are only human, and we cannot find the clear answer to this until we accept that, "Evil," has been around since man's earliest days on earth." It is seductive, powerful and it tantalizes us as if we we are all beyond hope." After Dr. Helm lost his son, this incredible educator and prolific reader found a verse in 1 Corinthians which led him to the truth, that God will answer each of us in our own time, and in his grief, this bereaved father would find the courage and the abject need to tell all people what is meant by, "The New World Order," and his search would take him to the most ancient writings known to exist as well as many on the subject of evil and the dark side and occult which followed Lucifer and his followers away from God. Collecting souls for Satan has existed, because Satan did not wish for love to exist. The only wealth he and his darkest angels saw was in the destruction of people's search for good, well defined as God, His only son, and, the everlasting Holy Spirit purchased with Jesus willingness to suffer all to save mankind and to give hope for eternal life.

Dr. Helm was able to search in places, libraries, and ancient script held in libraries across the world to define, "Evil," and it's purpose, "A New World Order." That sounds like something desirable until one finds out, "The New World Order," is the idea of Lucifer to deny life's continuation beyond death. Our author is among the most gifted persons I've had the pleasure of meeting, for his genius is among the first to call out in name those who believe they are above God. We've ignored the books often called, "The forbidden books," for they were often unclear as to purpose, but one thing which is perfectly clear is that they are among places where we can find that ancient man took very seriously the danger of Dark Angels and The Occult. We are warned in the New Testament of taking oaths, and those who call themselves educators in fraternal orders at the highest realm happen to be among the darkes and most dreadful call to such a world order where Lucifer and his dark angels can participate in stealing souls from God, the father--Christ the Son, and The Holy Spirit often referred to as the, "Three in one," but each is a part of the Eternal Father who has watched over us from the beginning. Those who take, "Oaths 'Til Death," are trapped until they can know of the power of the devil and of how man is used to carry out bringing what they hope is a, "New World Order," where nothing is Sacred and Satan is king.

Our one hope along with God's promise that Good will always win in the end is to develop an awareness that those consummed with crystals, Tarot Cards, Astronomy to be used for some as, "Devil's Work," all is related to early science and the misuse of information which man was not prepared to deal with. We are living in a time when people challenge God and want what has destroyed all civilizations before us--A place with no order, with no rules, with demonic worship, and the mocking of God. Dr. Helms book bears some relationship to the book, "The Davinci Code," for early Christians had to use code to communicate. Realize that, "The Sorcerer's Stone," The Potions for life eternal, The Holy Grail, and many mysteries of the bible was formed in a day where the blood sacrifice of a Christian was great spectacle and entertainment. What I --promise you is--Whether you believe in Dr. Helm's conclusions or not--You are apt to be left thinking as never before how dangerous the remains early Christians have left us are not to be disregarded, and that we must stand up to those who would deny us a place with God. Evil is powerful, but it has and never will carry the power of good. Christ death on the cross was our guarantee. For those who have lost one's you love--Then please open your heart, and recognize that a great day is coming when you, like the Helms, will hold and know lovingly and with the greatest of pleasure that through God, his mysteries and paradoxes--You have the promise of being united with love once more. To this, I suggest and hope deeply that you will help to warn of, "The New World Order," and to take away the demons of Satan who would deny anything of light and of joy that you have ever known. Congratulations Dr. Helm in leading us in to what we must battle against. Barbara Everett Heintz

Paradoxes and Mysteries of God Used To Explain History and Goals of The Devil's Own Secret Societies
By Barbara Heintz
Carroll Helm, PhD, a teacher of education most of his career leads us in God's Mysteries and Paradoxes to the deolate place a parent must go when the death of an adult child takes one to a summit with all understanding of, "Why Not Me," lbeing the question whih is without answer. He admits, "I lost it," meaning that the torment of losing his only son led him to the place a parent of faith especially cannot abide. One comes to God with the fervor of all the peace, joy, and happiness which seems promised from all the scripture readings and all which some have been taught from childhood as the truth which binds them to eternal love. How can anyone Christian or not pick up the shattered self from all such accidents or whatever disaster takes a child before us. This deeply spiritual man found himself one morning in front of a misted mirror where he recalled a Biblical passage which he could almost see in the back of his head, and it was a verse he'd read many times before but never getting why it was so important. The summary of it was a paradox that God will not reveal everything to us in this life but, "Face to face," as impossible as that sounds until one, like Dr. Helm sees his own mirror reflection and knows all of this has something to do with work he must do. He compels us through a study he would take on to find his answers to comprehend that from the Old to the New Testament--Just as there is good, "Evil," is always stalking us, and evil is the sum of many parts--Lucifer, the fallen angel, the angels which were thrown out of heaven at the same time for their willingness to follow one who desired for himself all of the riches of heaven and of earth. I questioned myself whether a car accident fell in to the realm of evil on earth; Certainly it is not good, but how did this apply to the Helm family and a lost son, lost children every where, pain and remorse of each of us have or will face, for, "God is good!"

A study of the mysterious and of paradoxes began that day and led to a study by this brilliant man as he found the scriptures to be full of paradoxes where one question leads to another just like nature is filled with paradoxes such as, "How can it be a desert when it blooms?" Carroll began the avid reader began to awaken to the realization that from the oldest writings Christians and others who believe in a monotheistic God read our evidence of all goodness while all around us we are being challenged by those whose soul purpose is to kill our loving relationship with a powerful and caring master. His son's death might seem an unrealistic place to begin a study of what is being called by some, "The New World Order," where the goal is to erase the signs of all that makes life bearable such as the profound love of a parent for a child--The greatest kind of love which is palpable.. In God's Mysteries and Paradoxes, no longer do we regard other writers like Dan Brown and the Davinci Code as some romp for this movie. From the Holy Grail, to "The Philosopher's Stone, The Dead Sea Scrolls, and the eternal search for potions which would extend human life by years to eternity, such items have been recorded as existing. In tthe Middle Ages Hermes Tristmegistus that which was not burned shows us science and philosophy had advanced far beyond our ages of thinking. Hermes writings would also take people back in to the occult which works hand in hand with evil. Hermes and followers of Lucifer not only brought back the sorcery, numerology, and astrology as a means of placing Christians back in to being used in pagan games for blood sacrifice. The course of human events was altered, and Dr. Helm's studies assure us that in the end, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit will bring us back to being royalty in the presence of God.

He does not hesitate to point out secret societies such as the Freemasons, Skull and Bones, and others who take oaths which if broken have the penalty of death. Tarot cards, crystals, and psychics are just a few the innocent will recognize, but the Illuminists teach their children to use the power, "Within their minds." The paradox will remain until the end of time, for what parent does not wish their child to know they have beautiful minds, and most of us desire nature to be appreciated as the never ending gift--But even nature can turn on a dime. I recommend this book for those who may be dabbling in occult life styles to those who have lost and can make no sense of loss. It is not just a book for the Bible educated, but it is an addition to studies of good vs. evil which those like me did not beome aware of the terms involved in, "Shaping a New World Order;" These are not terms for light TV watching with one's children. "Evil," or Lucifer, whomever you wish to call the Satanic enemy of Christ is gaining power as people sit and laugh out loud at movies where a woman is going to have blood sucked from her neck. That's how calloused we have become. Now the rate of suicides continues to rise, and one says, "Pity; What Pity," when it is not your child or mine. We've taught a new generation to think sexual exploits are being called fun when ropes and hangings have occurred, or when someone taking a beating adds to, "The Fun Room." Professor Helm has read more books than I can count. He's brilliant and kind, and has given a life to education. The worst education he has had to deal with has been the death of a son. How did he get from praying on his knees and almost unable to get through a day? I believe that he finally recognized that a gracious Lord did not ask for his son. It was an accident, the worst a family can suffer no matter the age of the child--But when he saw all of the mysteries and paradoxes, he saw all the parent's grief from when time began, and in asking God, "Why me; why us?" The good and sweet comfort he relied on from first he was born--It was as if his beautiful son and the reflection in the mirror told Carroll; "You will see and love your son all of this life, but your child has seen enough that he is asking of a Dad to help people understand--That so long as he breathed in earth's sweet air--"You have a job to do, My Dad." Warn those who've gone emotionally bereft to know that each decade seems to rephrase a Bible verse to satisfy a new brand of religion where as a group or many wish to redefine God's Master Plan. "The New World Order," brutality, shame. and injury will be seen for what it is--Pure Evil," and no one could be more proud than Carroll Helm's son who died in Christ. I believe that he found a way for his father to research the powers and principswealities where we dare not tread, for Evil longs to find us, and we are not taking seriously the danger of, "The New World Order. Carroll was given the task of begging us to just look around. Many had rather take any road away from Christ, for on that road you are safe. I recommend Dr. Helm's book as a majestic book which has needed to be written long ago. People dying by the thousands from Heroin over doses. See all of the pagan signs on children's skin after body piercings and tatoos. Think of The Devil's cup as being the spoon heated to make the syringe, first clean, then filled with a child's blood. We've made every sacrifice from the beginning, but we forgot to tell our kids about, "Evil," and it does not end with heroin over doses, but little baby parts are flushed down city sewers, for a girl did not know it already had a heartbeat easily heard now between two to six weeks. Our kids are getting in to sex, for mothers and fathers do not know how to tell them how to be a child. Who will answer the children and give them some hope for a better kingdom?

Carroll Helm is giving each of us some tools as a life time educator, and I've never before heard answered so many questions which he addresses in, "God's Mysteries and Paradoxes. I highly recommend this book for families. Even if you are not a religious family, then go and search as so many have done since The Davinci Code. Dr. Helm hopes that our prayers, our hope, and our in Christian libraries and with those who can read the earliest writings such as, "The Dead Sea Scrolls. We have more to learn, and help our children to know that we are on a quest. I am so grateful that Dr. Helm let me read his book, for it opened my eyes and hearts just to know there are all of these documents around the world which has writing that can shed light on surely bringing the world under one tent. I ask you to please read this man's book and to those who study ancient mysteries and global mapping to the libraries around the world--The devil has had his way in taking away those who seek to be with God someday in the presence of God and the Holy Spirit, and I have to thank Carroll Helm for taking his time to undertake this master piece which is not just another Christian wonderful story. This opens the door to under stand why Christ has loved us so much, and it brings to life the academics of Egypt and Rome, but most of all it lets us have some view in to why our world seems to be headed in to a danger zone. Read; Please, and you as am I are apt to be speechless.
